I am a life-long resident of Salina. I used to be a police officer, but I found that teaching is more rewarding work. My children enjoy sports and it is nice to see them excell at something they love. My wife and I have been married for 14 years and she has been a teacher for 17 years whereas I have just completed my 5th year of teaching.
Thomas Edison was asked why he kept trying when he failed 1000 straight times while trying to invent something. He replied, "I haven't failed. I merely found 1000 different ways it didn't work."
